Purpose of Madang Club

To foster friendship through love, service, and sharing, and especially to contribute to the development of Korean tennis by creating world-class players.

Madang Club History

In 1984, Yang Jung-soon, Jung Bok-hee, Lee Soon-oh, and Choi Kyung-mi formed a gathering to promote friendship. In 1988, retired national representative tennis players officially started activities under the name "Madanghue" with the addition of Kim Nam-suk, Han Yoon-ja, Shin Soon-ho, Sul Min-kyung, Kim Soo-ok, Han Eun-sook, Park Yang-ja, Choi Eun-hee, and others as key members. Later, Im Suk-ja, Son Mi-ae, Lee Jung-myeong, and Kim Il-soon, Park Sung-hee, Choi Young-ja and Lee Duk-Hee were recruited.

As of 2024, there are total of 34 honorary members of Madanghue.
